SVO GTC OSIRIS Broad Band First Data Release archive:
With the images in the Sloan system broadband griz filters of the OSIRIS (Optical system for Imaging and low-intermediate Resolution Integrated Spectroscopy) instrument at the Gran Telescopio de Canarias (GTC), an astrometric and photometric catalogue of sources observed between April 2009 and January 2014 has been built.
The products of this first data release are described in (Cortés-Contreras et al 2020). It includes:
- Reduced and astrometricaly calibrated images (See GTC archive).
- A detection catalogue with all source detections in the four bands. It provides accurate coordinates, source identifier, detection identifier, PSF and Kron calibrated photometry and related quality flags, aperture instrumental photometry*, PSF + Sérsic instrumental photometry*, morphometric parameters (elongation, ellipticity, FWHM), signal to noise ratio, epoch of observation, type (point-like or extended), point-like coefficient (cl**) and a url of the associated reduced image in each band.
(*)Limited to instrumental magnitudes with errors under 1.0.
- A source catalogue that includes, for each source, the best photometric data point in each filter, its quality flag, detection identifier, epoch of observation and a url of the associated reduced image in each band. Weighted mean celestial coordinates are included, as well as the source identifier and the point-like coefficient (cl**) .
(**)Defined as the ratio between the number of point-like detections and the total number of point-like and extense classifications of the same source. It takes values from 0 to 1, being cl equal to 0 when the source has been always classified as extended and cl equal to 1 when the source has been always classified as point-like.
The SVO GTC OSIRIS Broad Band First Data Release archive has been developed in the framework of the Spanish Virtual Observatory project supported by the Spanish MINECO/FEDER through grant AyA2017-84089 and ASTERICS, a project supported by the European Commission Framework Programme Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation action under grant agreement n. 653477. The system is maintained by the Data Archive Unit of the CAB (CSIC -INTA).
